From Oak to Bespoke

We love to read about all your creative upcycling projects. We were especially impressed with this stunning chest of drawers by Lauren Coleman of Rock My Style blog. Lauren searched for months without success for a merchants or apothecary chest that would fit with the industrial inspired décor of her home, so she eventually decided to create a unique piece of her own. Lauren struggled to find a vintage or second hand chest that fitted her size requirements and that was within her budget, so she reluctantly purchased a brand new chest which she found on the Pine Solutions website. White Oak Chest

When the chest arrived, Lauren injected the wow factor into this oak chest by painting it in two coats of Farrow and Ball’s Estate Eggshell in Railings and adding some antique style pull handles from eBay. We love the finished look!
